Now we all know I'm a Weatherby Whaler fan and have exceptionally high standards, so I was amazed that it took me a good 40minutes to eat my food. The fish was crispy and pure white throughout, not greasy but just right. The chips were well cooked and fluffy in the middle, which shows a perfect cook. Mushy peas were delightful and I throughly enjoyed my meal, the people in the shop were polite and well spoken, enquiring where I was walking to etc so overall - yes I would return.

Dean was so obliging when I asked if he could do 44 meals for 11:45 am. Last Thursday for our Dementia group, Friends for Life (Nottm)"Ay'e up mi duck". True to his word, All of them were packed individually, everyone as good as the first one.

Come here on the way back from work. Always quick, fish and chips are quite frankly the best in the area. Always super hot as well, at least all my visits have been. When I was there the other week, I heard an order being called that sounded like curry? When it passed, it was steaming hot and smelled amazing! Always a friendly hello too, which is nice!
